Position: Operations & Administrative Support Specialist

Highlights

Locations: Anniston, Oxford, Lenlock + Office & Work-From-Home
Schedule: Part-time (approx. 20 hrs/week to start), flexible hours between 7:30am–4:00pm

About Us

       KBar Inc. is the parent company for Washin Coin Laundry, operating five 24-hour laundromats in the Anniston/Oxford area, as well as a warehouse and operations center. We are expanding and looking for a reliable, organized, tech-comfortable team member who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and learning new skills. 

Position Overview

 

      The Operations & Administrative Support Specialist will assist with customer service workflows, inventory control, digital systems, content creation, and general business administration. This is a hands-on role that includes work at all 5 store locations, office duties, and some remote tasks.

You must be comfortable with technology, organized, able to lift moderate weight (parts, vending items), and able to work both independently and with direct supervision.

Responsibilities

 

Customer Service & Communication

  • Process customer refunds
  • Manage and update customer contact info
  • Help set up AI response systems for customer calls/messages
  • Respond to customer concerns and reviews
  • Handle basic social media activity (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) 

Inventory & Warehouse Support

  • Set up and maintain parts-tracking and inventory systems
  • Organize warehouse inventory: spare parts, equipment, tools, vending supplies
  • Monitor vending machine stock and reorder as needed
  • Fill and manage ATM cash levels (training provided)

Digital Systems & Equipment

  • Develop SOPs for:
    • Camera systems
    • Alarm systems
    • ATMs
    • Vending machines
    • Other internal processes
  • Scan equipment manuals into AI for maintenance schedules and parts breakdown
  • Assist with basic video creation and editing

Office & Administrative Work

  • Organize and maintain office files
  • Track commercial leases, insurance, vehicle registration. 
  • Update corporate books and vendor/contractor contact lists
  • Post items for sale on eBay or Facebook Marketplace

Schedule

  • Approximately 20 hours per week to start 
  • Flexible schedule; majority of work between 7:30am–4:00pm
  • Work will occur between:
  • 5 laundromat locations (Anniston/Oxford)
  • Warehouse (Lenlock)
  • Office
  • Some work-from-home tasks
